Our Möbius platform is a comprehensive online education solution that was designed with the unique needs of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in mind. With a belief that continual learning is a key pillar in building successful societies and a deep understanding of digital education, we’re helping to transform the way the world learns.

The North American educational technology market is primed to grow with the adoption of online technologies, so we’re looking for an Account Executive to join our Sales team and contribute to the future of online learning.

Areas of Focus: Revenue Pipeline Management | Landing Large Institutions | Customer Growth

Account Executives own and are accountable for the full health of their revenue operations funnel within their area of focus. We’re in a sales ‘pod’ environment, so the interdependencies between departments is a key element of our success. Collaborating with teammates to achieve the best possible outcome for our customers is how we win. Our ideal candidate seeks out opportunities to make an impact, is sales-hungry and most importantly nurtures a strong sense of curiosity. What are the 50 largest universities and colleges in my region, and how can I land as many of them as possible? Which stakeholders have I yet to reach out to within this list of large prospects? How can I work with my team to drive revenue and win large new customers?

  • Strategize & Plan: Build and execute a sales plan for your region that sets out a clear path to achieving your targets. You’re in control of your success, starting with how you plan on achieving it.

  • Build Pipeline: Collaborate with teammates in Marketing, Business Development and Customer Success to run campaigns that will build new sales pipelines into your region. Stay connected on progress, and work through feedback loops to continually get better.

  • Manage & Close Opportunities: Manage and close complex sales cycles, with multiple stakeholder groups. This is where you shine. You have a knack for knowing your audience, and clarifying the value proposition to who’s in the room.

  • Grow Revenue & Win New Customers: Contribute to the success of DigitalEd’s presence in the market by maximizing revenue opportunities.

  • Pipeline Generation: Your sales pipeline has 3 - 5 X coverage of your regional sales quota, with a dedicated focus on new business.

  • Land Large Customers: You’re finding, influencing, and bringing on large customers to the Mobius platform.

  • Revenue Goals: You’re able to meet and/or exceed the sales targets in your region, and in turn meet your commission goals.

Lastly, our ideal newest team member is self-directed, process-oriented, adaptable, passionate about sharing knowledge and a lifelong learner themselves. To be successful in this role, diving in and embracing our product is key. 5 years+ of quota carrying exposure to selling education technology in SaaS would be a stand out asset on a candidate’s profile. Healthy working habits within a customer relationship tool such as Salesforce is a must. Candidates with previous solution-selling Sales Methodology training are encouraged to apply, we’ll take care of providing a robust training on the Möbius Platform.

*Note: This role would normally have a 30% travel component associated with it, as getting out to schools and sitting face to face with our customers is key. Due to Covid-19, all travel has been suspended at this time. When restrictions are eventually lifted, we’ll collaboratively discuss what travel plans, if any, could look like.
